allright !!

 

forgot to post the last few weeks! so im just going to cram it all in bulk 

june 

was road tripping around america with the boys doing the whole west coast surfing thing , from san fran to san diego , fun waves good times , cold water . went to vegas to get our party on then thought why not smash it out with an ending in new york , all in all great trip

july

some great waves around home surfing with my mates an a few salty team riders like oscar scanes an ben dunn , then headed over to indo for some waves , surfed keramas an canngu alot , got fun barrels about 4 foot nice an clean , found some sneaky secret spots too which was epic.

throwing it out there an saying biggest swell of the year about to happin today an tomoro, dust off the rhino chasers yarrrr . so in a few days im off to bali again so hopefully we can get some late swell over there an i dont get caught in kuta for too long mahahaha

 me again unfortunatly 

domestic airport , international airport , hotel , car drive but wait im there RAGLAN ! considered one of the worlds best lefthand point breaks its easy to see why when your looking down from the hills of the raglan furthering your sights past manu bay onto whale bay then finally the pinicle of the classy wave indicators . 

its like going into the past New Zealand which is cool , spent the last week there an found some sneaky waves . writing this blog from brisbane airport as i kill time for another flight , cant wait to get home as im pretty damn sure i missed the best swell of 2010 , not to worry

well its been some time since my last post so Im thinking its time for an update so here goes !

three to four feet clean amazing waves for a week straight has led to some amazing barrels an sessions i wont mention where this was but it was all time , been working with alex brunton to get some shots an i have a few to show case , boom sydney time week straight no waves an a cut on my foot to winge about luckily i had some friends down there to hang with, an 2up where i doubled up on wins against steph gilmore an toby martin suckkked in !!!

anyway im off to raglan (NZ) next so with any luck we will score waves. next post ill be updating from southern california till then , sooo long

whats got me stoked ? well ill tell you , the new series of arnettes agent sunglasses, stylish little numbers im into the brown turtle shell,never leave with out them, chec them out .

hey crew , currently cant move because so tired , so oscar scanes an myself went chasing waves today down at tuncurry an were stoked to score waves all day ! 3 to 4 feet peeks nice an clean led an interesting day of surfing ,one of the funnest sessions iv had for a while , to add to action was benny godwin an tom pringle(sunshine coast)so was good to catch up with the lads as they were throwing down some solid aireals ,the boys just passing through from the boost mobile event down at bondi where super freak owen wright claims yet another title! weeknd coming an so is the swell , got a few hotspots we might try get the ski to cause i have the little feeling its going to be pretty solid a few of the days , but ill let you guys know how it all goes

just spent 2 weeks surfing around newcastle for surfest ! newy is a pretty fun joint , pub after pub ,beach after beach ,

keep an eye out for jetpilots new stock hitting salty shelves NOW its looking dope !!

after a month on the goldcoast its good to be unwinding at home , just picked up new boards from rod rose surfboards an it looks amazing, so heres what my last month involved started out at south stradbroke island to an event called the couran cove pro, the whole concept was pretty cool we had to get a ferry from the goldie onto an island where there were no cars just bike,the swell was a solid 5 foot an grinding onto the shores of couran cove main beach, got a few tubes an hidings but all in all was good times

from south stradbroke i went down the coast to find some waves around the byron bay area,crowded right hand point break THE PASS was firing for a few days an i definatly got my fair share of waves over the time. with the swell increasing i got a call saying that the points on the goldcoast would start to pump, on that note i jumped in the car an headed up there , had an epic session where parko mick an bede were dominating behind the rock at snapper getting some crazy tubes, i mannaged to snag a few also so it was happy days. next stop north stardbroke island for the oakley pro junior witch saw mitchy cruiz take home the chedda in a final against davey cathels, the boys were ripping an we all scored some great waves, its a great place up there with some amazing setups, just gotta watch out for the heavy locals (sharks).

this brings me to the last event that il be judging the breaka 4star wqs featuring some of the best surfers on the planet, i was looking forward on doing this event as i knew the standard was going to be high, highlights of this contest were owen wright going balistic in his semi final scoring a perfect 10 an 9.77, the return of occy,margo,andy irons,sunny garcia an nicky woods all having time off.with josh kerr,taj burrow,mick fanning boosting every wave the crowds were amped an it made our job judging so enjoyable , the hat goes off to taj burrow who played an experienced game plan in the final an took home 1st place.

so thats the last month broken down into short form, off to newcastle in soon for a few weeks so see how that goes
